i purchased a 6hp yamaha 4 stroke for my shark. i was looking at a honda 5hp 4 stroke but i got a better price on the yamaha. it included a 12 volt charger. this is strictly a cruising config. for racing a 4hp 2 stroke has bags of power and is much lighter. if one could afford both then i would go with a 2-3hp 2 stroke to get me out to the race course
