I would like to repair the old wooden mast for my shark...... can I put on some new spreaders and just straighten out the bend about 7 feet from the top????? The mast hasn't been used in 15 years.... How about a carbon fiber wrap of the old wood???? It would be for cruising only... I guess a metal pole would be safer for the racing circuit.. Has anyone seen a shark with a wooden mast????
